5kW LESTAR Industrial Portable Power for On-Site Road Repair

LESTAR Industrial Portable Power Stations were deployed directly at a municipal road repair site in Singapore to provide on-site power for electric breaking equipment.

For mobile operations such as pavement breaking and localized road repair, 5kW industrial portable power stations are primarily used. The units can move with the crew and tools between repair points, reducing dependence on fixed power connections and fuel-powered generators.

01 Project Background

Where the Road Work Goes, the Power Follows

The project involved localized pavement breaking and road repair in Singapore. Crews used electric breaking equipment to remove existing pavement and moved between work points as the repair progressed.

LESTAR industrial portable power was deployed directly within the work area to provide electricity for on-site tools, reducing dependence on fixed power points during mobile operations.

02 On-Site Deployment

5kW Portable Power Directly at the Work Point

For mobile road-breaking operations, 5kW-class industrial portable power stations are the primary configuration used in this project.

Industrial Portable Power Station is positioned close to the crew and electric tools. Once work at one location is completed, the unit can move with the crew to the next repair point.

Deploy → Plug In → Work → Move

This brings power directly to the work point, reducing dependence on distant fixed connections and long temporary cable runs.

03 What Does a 5kW-Class Unit Provide?

In municipal road repair applications, the power source needs to support both continuous tool loads and the higher starting demand of motor-driven equipment.

04 How Long Can It Work on One Charge?

In addition to power output, runtime is an important consideration for mobile construction. According to PS-0505 runtime reference data, one full charge can support:

Breaking, cutting and grinding tools are typically used intermittently as road repair progresses, allowing the mobile power source to be flexibly shared between different tools and work points.

05 Why Low-Noise Power Matters

Urban Road Work Should Not Add Unnecessary Power-Source Noise

Singapore’s National Environment Agency (NEA) includes road repair, road breaking, road opening and boring works within the scope of construction noise control. Construction sites within 150 metres of noise-sensitive premises such as residential buildings, hospitals and schools are also subject to noise-monitoring requirements.
